I’ve been this person for so many times earlier. I start a website, then I do wonder how to do the perfect SEO for my new site. In this article, I will reveal my exclusive strategy on how to boost organic search performance for your website.
I’ve learned a lot about internet marketing and SEO strategies over the past few months. And in this particular post, I will show you how to perform better on Search Engine results pages with a minimal or no prior SEO knowledge.
I will just assume that you’ve started your new website. Let’s say you just started a new blog about something you’re totally passionate about. You set up everything, put different pieces of content, and you’re ready to welcome visitors to your site. Now What?

Organic Search Rankings:
At this point, you need to know that SEO is all about your site optimization. If it’s not optimized to be reached by people and search engines, then you’re screwed.
In this post, I will show you how to get your site ready to conquer the first spots in Google and other search engines. I will teach you how to boost organic search performance to your website.
Make sure to read and follow the following points and you should be very good to go:
1. Website Accessibility:
I’m sure you don’t want to rank a website that is not accessible by search engines or redirecting to a 404 or a messed up page. So the main purpose of this post here is to make sure you’re site is accessible by people and indexable by search engines.
We need to run a test covering different things on your website:
- 404 pages
- 301 redirects
- 500 errors
- duplicate content
- missing titles
- thin content pages.
Testing these things is seriously crucial for your new website. You may think that this step is something not really necessary, but it is. Before turning on the wheel, we need to make sure that everything is working just the perfect way.
Checking such parameters on your new website have never been easier. There are a lot of tools to help you with that. I personally will recommend using Google Webmaster Tools which is very powerful and completely free to use for all your websites.

2. Content Quality:
This another important factor and let me here stress on the fact that Content is the King. So what makes visitors want to see your site if doesn’t deliver quality information on that niche you’re into?
Let’s face it, SEO means optimizing your site for search engines to rank higher. BUT if your content is not delivering any valuable information, Search Engines will quickly drop your site in results pages even if you’ve made the perfect SEO possible.
The reason is that Search engines like Google are striving to deliver the best user experience. Their main mission is to give their visitors the best results for the requested keyword.
If visitors didn’t see your content useful, they will quickly bounce back to find other places with more relevant and valuable content. Search Engines understand all these behaviors and accordingly will drop your site according to the user experience.

3. Design Quality & Usability:
This is all about your website design and user experience. You need to make a website that is clean, and organized. You don’t want people to be frustrating on your website as it may increase your bounce rate. Instead, make sure that your site is as simple as possible.
A lot of newbie site owners and bloggers are misunderstanding this point. They think that they need to hire a designer and put quality graphics in here and there.
But what they don’t know is that all these things are adding up to the page loading time and frustrate your visitors with too many colors and noise all over the site.

I would say stick to the fresh WordPress installation along with a decent WordPress theme. Don’t overwhelm yourself with the graphics and colors. You just need to focus on delivering a site structure that is easy to navigate, simple, clean, and as organized as possible.
You also need to test the site responsiveness. It means that your new site needs to be responsive on whatever device your visitor is using. This way you will literally increase organic search rankings.
To wrap things up here, I would say we need to run the following tests:
- Site Loading Time – http://tools.pingdom.com

4. Keyword Targeting:
Once you make sure that the above items are clear, It’s time to do Keyword Targeting. This basically means optimizing a certain page on your site for a specific keyword (on-page SEO).
This will increase your chances of ranking higher when someone is getting to search for that particular keyword. So Keyword targeting is the main GEM here to get better SERP results.
I would recommend installing and activating Yoast SEO WordPress plugin on your site. This plugin will help you with complete guidance on targeting a specific keyword for each blog post you’ve. And it’s FREE!
So that plugin will help you with the On Page SEO and will give you a better potential for higher ranking in search engines. But it won’t help you to find the keyword to use.
Here, I’m using KWFinder tool for a few months now and I’m very happy with it. It basically helps you to find low-competitive keywords that will boost your site organic search rankings.
KWFinder is an awesome tool and a must-do investment especially if you’re new to content marketing and making money online. Finding great keywords have never been easier with it.
Here is how to use KWFinder for finding better keywords:

- Re-arrange keywords based on “Competition”.
- Take a glance on the current ranking pages for that keyword.

KWFinder is FREE for up to 3 keyword searches per day. For more searches, you may need to opt-in for their paid packages starting at $29 per month. This really cheap in comparison to other tools like SEMRush ($99/mo) and SEOMoz ($99/mo).

5. Social Accounts Setup:
Social Accounts and SEO? Yes, I mean it. Did you know that Search Engines are depending on Social Media to define which content people like?
So If that particular post is generating more social shares and likes, this means that people like it and accordingly it will more relevant to give it a push on search engine results pages.
This is how search engines like Google are thinking. As for your new site, I would say it would be a great SEO push to set up your social accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, & Google+.
Once there, you should start being active on your site social accounts by sharing your content. I would say it’s a better idea to schedule posts on social profiles.
By scheduling posts on social accounts, you will get these pages to work passively for you while you’re spending your time doing something more important like producing high-quality content.
I would recommend using ViralTag tool. It helps you to schedule an unlimited number of posts on your social media profiles. So you need to spend like an hour or so scheduling shares, and they will run on auto-pilot for the rest of the month. Awesome, Isn’t it?
